This course is an intensive hybrid program where participants would learn about the role of physical therapy in the management of female patients presenting with pelvic floor dysfunction related to bowel, bladder and sexual health with focus on invasive and non-invasive pelvic floor assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation techniques. Each segment of the course will address a specific type of pelvic floor dysfunction, discusses the methodology for management, as well as the efficacy of the physical therapy intervention related to treatment of each diagnosis.

Course is very informative and interesting.
Very informative course and fully hands-on. Ms. Dhara was very helpful in her feedback and taught it efficiently.
Very good, well structured, learnt alot.
The course was good & informative. Topic was very well explained.
The course was very comprehensive and included the assessment and treatment of bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunctions in females. The instructors were very knowledgeable and presented the whole course in a way that was easy to follow. Dr. Dhara also answered all our doubts and made sure everyone understood the concepts well. Thank you Learnovate for this course.
This workshop was fantastic and worth the wait–many years! Thank you very much Learnovate for organising Pelvic Floor Rehab workshop. I was looking forward to this workshop for weeks, and it exceeded my expectations. I learned a lot from the workshop! Thankyou Dr. Dhara Shah for an informative course.
I think the course was an excellent introduction to the pelvic floor, internal assessment and practical applications of techniques. The lecturers were very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. It was a pleasure to participate. A few points to improve on... time management. The course lacked structure in terms of set breaks and timed practical sessions which seemed to go on without much organisation. Day one was extended to fit the content in but the time could have been better organised. I also found the internal rectal palpation for the coccyx a bit random. We spent nearly 1.5 hrs looking at the vagina on day 1 and progressed slowly and methodically. However on day 2 we dived straight into palpation of the coccyx which involved an internal rectal assessment without spending time on palpation. In my experience rectal examinations and understanding the bowels and associated conditions is a whole course on its own. Physiotherapists new to womens health may possibly think they can treat patients rectally based on what was covered. I would suggest leaving internal coccyx mobilisation out of the course until more experience has been gained from those participating.
