    General and Specific Objectives of the course 

    Enables the participants for the following rehabilitative assessment and management  

    • Assessment of antenatal woman – postural assessment, musculoskeletal assessment, pelvic floor assessment, etc.  

    • Management of antenatal woman – trimester wise rehab, rehab for high-risk pregnancies, etc.  

    • Support during labor and childbirth – exercises to expedite the process of labor, pain reducing techniques during labor, etc.  

    • Assessment of lactating mother – breast examination – nipples, areola, feeding position examination, examination of the baby, etc.  

    • Management of lactation issues – mastitis, engorged breasts, sore nipples, etc.  

    • Assessment of postnatal woman – postural assessment, back pain, coccydynia, Diastasis Recti Abdomens, pelvic floor muscles assessment etc.  

    • Management of postnatal woman – exercises for back pain, Diastasis Recti Abdomens, weight loss, pelvic floor assessment etc.
