    Sports Rehabilitation Course- Dubai

    This course introduces the latest research, evidence-based practice and methods of all the core areas of sports rehabilitation, injury prevention and high-performance training by integrating the best practices of sports medicine and sports performance.

    The 4-day program gives a comprehensive understanding in tailor made corrective exercises, biometrics of sports movements, sports rehabilitation models, protocols, functional soft tissue releasing techniques, the most efficient assisted stretching techniques, innovative mobilization methods, unique stabilization exercises, sports specific functional strength, and power exercises in rehabilitation, also kinesio tape techniques, sport cupping techniques, compression band techniques, IASTM techniques to treat injuries of musculoskeletal system, tendon, ligament, cartilage, soft tissue dysfunction and myofascial restriction.

    Learning objectives:

    • Understand the reason of sport injuries and re-injuries
    • Understand the sports rehabilitation protocols and training parameters in case of muscle, ligament, meniscus and tendon injury
    • Understand the function of the 4 main muscle subsystems that underpin functional movements and sport-specific movements
    • Get deeper understanding in sports rehabilitation of different upper and lower extremity injuries
    • Understand muscle and joint dysfunction using a special, multistage Functional Movement Pattern Analysis
    • Learn how to test, spot and analyse compensatory movement patterns and body posture in sport-specific movement
    • Understand the effects of tissue tightness on sport injuries, sport-specific movements, optimal performance and high performance
    • Learn the correct application of various soft tissue mobilization techniques  (SMR, sport cupping, trigger point therapy and compression band) in sports rehabilitation

    • Learn innovative passive, active, manual and instrument assisted joint mobilization methods in sports rehabilitation
    • Understand how to improve static and dynamic stability in sports rehabilitation
    • Understand how to implement kinesiotape techniques into sports rehabilitation
    • Understand how to improve neuromuscular efficiency and optimal function in sports rehabilitation
    • Understand the relationship between stabilization, mobilization, strength endurance, muscular strength, maximal strength, plyometric and speed training from sport injury to high performance
