Nikos Karavidas is a Physiotherapist, born on February 28th, 1985, in Athens. He established Schroth Scoliosis & Spine Clinic, a specialized center for conservative treatment of spinal deformities, mainly Scoliosis and Kyphosis. He is the inventor of PSSE – Schroth method (Physiotherapeutic Scoliosis Specific Exercises), which is the latest development in scoliosis and kyphosis treatment. He started teaching about scoliosis treatment since 2017, giving so far more than 50 courses, certifying more than 400 Physiotherapists all over the world.
He is also certified in the following PSSE methods: Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPTS) – Rigo Concept, International Schroth Scoliosis Treatment (Schroth ISST), Schroth Best Practice, Scientific Exercises Approach to Scoliosis (SEAS) and Lyon.
He is one of the very few Physiotherapists worldwidely who is certified in all Schroth techniques, getting his education from the experts, BSPTS with Dr. Manuel Rigo, ISST with Axel Hennes and Best Practice by Dr. Hans Rudolf Weiss. Moreover, he is the only one who was invited to be Instructor by every Schroth School, as he was Teacher for 5 years for BSPTS, he was invited to be Instructor for Schroth ISST and Schroth Best Practice, and finally he developed his own PSSE - Schroth method, which is based on original Schroth method principles, as they were described by Katharina Schroth and Christa Lehnert Schroth. A new classification of scoliosis curve type was introduced, with unique and innovative concepts for 3D correction, having received some influences from all PSSE Schools that he is certified.
