    Biography & achievements

    Dr. Elena Bueno Gracia is a distinguished physiotherapist and academic with over two decades of clinical and teaching experience. She graduated in Physiotherapy from the Universidad de Zaragoza in 2004, followed by a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from UNED in 2008. She holds a Master of Applied Sciences in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (Kaltenborn-Evjenth Concept) and completed her PhD in Health Sciences at the Universidad de Zaragoza, with pioneering research on the validity of neurodynamic tests for diagnosing carpal tunnel syndrome.

    Currently a Professor at the University of Zaragoza, Dr. Bueno Gracia is the Director of the Master’s Degree in Advanced Clinical Neuromuscular Physiotherapy and leads the PhysiUZerapy research group. Her research is internationally recognized, focusing on neural biomechanics, neurodynamic evaluation, and the therapeutic application of neurodynamic techniques, including cadaveric studies.

    Since 2009, she has been an esteemed international instructor with Neurodynamic Solutions, personally trained by Michael Shacklock. She has delivered courses across Europe and Latin America, including in Spain, Belgium, Greece, Italy, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Bosnia, and Serbia.

    Dr. Bueno Gracia has an extensive publication record, with over 50 peer-reviewed scientific articles, and continues to contribute significantly to advancing the understanding and clinical application of neurodynamics in musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
