An information packed two-day workshop designed for ALL therapists who want an honest, straight forward, patient centered, effective and evidence-based approach to the assessment and management of shoulder issues.
This course aims to give you the confidence that doing the simple things really well is the best approach and attempts to cut through the over complicated and confusing research, methods, and opinions out there. It doesn’t promise any magic techniques, quick fixes, or fancy exercises, but it does promise to be highly informative yet informal, educational and engaging, and most importantly fun and practical with plenty of ideas and tips that you can put into your practice immediately.
Course Objectives:
• Simplify the assessment and management of the most commonly encountered shoulder problems
• Examine the evidence on how to best assess and diagnose the most common shoulder problems
• Expose the common myths and misconceptions around shoulder anatomy, biomechanics, assessment, and pathology
• Evaluate how best to assess shoulder movement, strength, endurance, power, proprioception, and its kinetic chain
• Practice all levels of shoulder rehab exercises and learn how to plan and design a fully comprehensive shoulder rehab program
